Moxie’s Team Returns from Cancun Retreat

ARLINGTON, Texas - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- “The purpose of the trip was to network with colleagues and to see what everyone in the industry has achieved this year,” said Morgan, the company’s director of operations. “We also had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the entertainment provided, as well as the attractions and beautiful beaches. It was a great adventure.”

Joining the management team was James C., who Morgan recognized as one of Moxie’s most valuable assets in 2014. “James has been a great addition to the Human Resource department and to our        success, helping us push the company to great heights this year,” she stated.

Also, Morgan was honored during the prestigious award ceremony that capped off the retreat. She was the recipient of the Presidents Club Award for her exceptional efforts this year, though she credits the team for the accomplishments. “Our high-powered team has really pulled together in 2014,” she indicated.

While company retreats and team travel have dropped substantially for many companies since the economic downturn in 2009, Morgan is grateful that this opportunity was presented to her group. “It was more than just playing in the sun, though we did have a lot of fun,” she noted. “The most valuable part of the trip was the ability to gather so many of the industry’s top performers into one place.”

“We met associates from various regions, each of whom do things a little differently from the next,” Morgan continued. “We had great, in-depth discussions with them about what they do and what experiences they’ve had. Everyone shared the lessons they’ve learned this year, many of which answered others’ concerns. Together, we brainstormed a bit, even in casual conversation, about how to handle different situations we may encounter, or how to create more innovative campaigns. These aren’t discussions you can have from great distances.”

For Morgan, she stated that the ROI for the retreat will be more than maximized as she and the other managers incorporate what they’ve gathered into their plans for the New Year. “All our hard work has definitely paid off, and we can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store for us,” she exclaimed. “It’s been amazing so far, and we plan on expanding into new regions. I’m confident that it will be the best year yet!”
