Follow on Google News | Finding Tambri By Sherry Meeks Is A Searingly Rendered TaleSherry Meeks, already having established a platform of short stories and novels, displays a deft hand at walking a tightrope slicing through the darkness of self-loathing tenuously balanced with the taunt of redemption in Finding Tambri.
By: Author Sherry Meeks The story of Tambri, who suffers the loss of her young son and the disintegration of her perfect marriage to high school sweetheart Daniel, is revealed in first person stories from Tambri and her husbands. Though outwardly Tambri retains her sense of humor, she struggles with feelings of loss and guilt, and not being good enough for this world. Tambri discovers one wrong man after another, and her only condition is that each man doesn't have children. I will not go through that again. Tambri, a phlebotomist respected for her professionalism and the care she shows others, can not see herself as worthy of the same thereby enduring the punishment of her constant bête noire and fast track to self-destruction. Currently on an east coast tour in the United States, Meeks will be adding further dates in the US and the United Kingdom through autumn of 2016. More information is available on her website at www.sherrylynnmeeks.com or via Twitter at @sherrymeeks. Meeks received her M.F.A. in Fiction from Southern New Hampshire University. She lives in Georgia with her dogs, Abby and Skye, and is an instructor of creative writing. End
