Dr. Edington is nationally and internationally known for his pioneer work in the wellness industry.  He has been called  “The Father of Wellness” by many HR and benefits professionals, and was selected as one of the ‘10 most influential people in HR’ in the US in 2014. Dr. Edington, former director of the University of Michigan’s Health Management Research Center, founded Edington Associates in 2011 to bring his 40 years of best practices in research, consultation and collaboration to the critical next step for organizations. He emphasizes that making health an organizational strategy should be on the agenda of each and every leadership team who wants to make a meaningful impact on the vitality of its organization. He is the author or co-author of over 800 articles, presentations, and several books including his most known book, Zero Trends: Health as a Serious Economic Strategy.
