By: HiiiBim Fernandez was born in Neuilly-Sur- Fernandez moved between different schools and countries in her youth including France, Scotland and USA. Education: Growing up in New York Fernandez attended Ridge street Country School as a toddler then moved to Rye Country Day School in 1995. She then briefly attended Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, Connecticut (while Ali Hilfiger was a student there) before moving to Edinburgh Scotland in 1999. Fernandez spend a majority of her education at the boarding school Fettes College (where Tony Blair attended) where she remained until graduation in 2007. Fernandez attended two different universities briefly. She studied video production at the Art institute of NYC but left after a few months. In 2009 she attended Oxford Brooke's University in Oxford UK. Career: Modeling Fernandez modeled for Vivienne Westwood during Edinburgh Fashion Week. In 2009 her face was the album cover for platinum selling artist Cobra Starships CD "Hot Mess". She also modeled for the cover of the single "Good Girls Go Bad". Singing: Fernandez started singing in the choir at her school. She plays violin and guitar. She started putting youtube videos of her singing and playing guitar under the name "hiiibim" in her late adolescence. These videos gained her some notoriety from the fans of the groups songs that she covered. In 2009 Fernandez sang on the first track of Cobra Starships "Hot Mess" entitled "Nice Guys Finish Last". She launched a project in 2011 and sang under the name Madame Luxe with 2 friends from the Universal Records band Cash Cash. She recently collaborated with the Drop Dead Clothing sponsored artist Draper. Their song "Painting the sky" was released February 1 2012 on his debut EP. The song gained radio play on BBC radio 1 in the UK. SMH Records Fernandez signed with SMH Records in October 2013. With them she released two songs, “Lets take it naked” & “Lipstick” Personal Life Fernandez lost her mother to colon cancer May 2013. She is a big supporter of colon cancer research.
