as its 2014 Charity of Choice after nearly 500 people voted for the organization in December. Anvil donated $18,000 in pro bono services to Make-A-Wish®
Oregon throughout the year, which included website optimization, analytics, social media marketing and strategic consulting services.

In addition to garnering site and online traffic growth, Make-A-Wish®
Oregon saw a double digit in social media engagement on their
Facebook page. Anvil’s audit of Make-A-Wish®
Oregon’s social media efforts identified a host of social media opportunities, including the need for the organization to create a more strategic presence on Instagram (
http://instagram.com/makeawishoregon). With Anvil’s support, Make-A-Wish®
Oregon’s Instagram account grew by 314% and garnered high engagement from users.
“With the digital landscape changing so rapidly, it can be difficult for a nonprofit to keep up. Through Anvil’s knowledge of the industry, careful analysis and thoughtful suggestions, we were able to develop a stronger strategy to help us better fulfill our mission,” Lam said.
In addition to donating annual pro bono marketing services, Anvil provided quarterly pro bono services and employee volunteer days to Green Empowerment (
