Motivational and Empowerment Speaker, La'Ticia Nicole Hosts Her First #SpeakLife Conference

DURHAM, N.C. - April 30, 2015 - PRLog -- La'Ticia Nicole Beatty, the author, speaker, entrepreneur and healthcare executive's #SpeakLife speaking platform is allowing her to captivate the attention of thousands of people across the country, by helping them overcome difficult situations in their lives and by changing how they view themselves while in their moments of difficulty. "Everything changes by what we declare with our mouth, and by the activation our faith," states the multi-talented Beatty.

Beatty will host her first conference May 1-2, 2015 at the Durham Marriott and Convention Center to teach others how they too, can positively change their lives, and do good in their communities. "It isn't enough just to get free in your mind from the negativity that impacts all of us. You must use that postive energy to impact and make changes in your community."  Beatty has done that with her "Feed 1,000" campaigns that have taken place the past two years during the Thanksgiving holiday. When she started the multi-state effort in 2013, 2,500 families were fed. Food was donated from a variety of sources, from hot meals delivered directly to homes to can goods, turkeys and other foods provided for families to pick-up. In 2014, the "Feed 1,000" campaign launched by Beatty impacted over 4,600 families from North Carolina to the state of Kansas.

The #SpeakLife Conference will have a series of scheduled events in the City of Durham. Friday, May 1: The #SpeakLife Soiree will be held from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm in the lobby of the Downtown Durham Marriott. The attire is business casual, as conference attendees meet and greet one another.

Saturday, May 2: The #SpeakLife conference registration will begin at 8:30 am at the Durham Convention Center. The workshop break-out sessions will take place from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. The workshops will consist of How to #SpeakLife over your finances, career, health and relationships.

Saturday, May 2: The Pink Dress/Black Tie Dinmer and "Somebody Believed in Me" Awards will occur from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm at the Durham Convention Center, La'Ticia Nicole Beatty will give the keynote speech, and entertainment will be provided.

Initially the #SpeakLife conference was just going to be an opportunity for the community to receive teaching, enjoy some networking and fellowship opportunities until Beatty decided that she wanted to surprise those who have spoken life into her. The "Somebody Believed in Me" awards presentation will be her gift to select community members Saturday evening.
