Guavus Expands Leadership Team to Meet Growing Demand for Big Data Analytic Solutions

(http://www.guavus.com/), a leading provider of big data analytics solutions for operational intelligence, today announced that Gabriele Di Piazza has joined as Senior Vice President, Marketing and David Nicholas has joined as Senior Vice President Sales, Cable & Media. Both proven industry veterans join at a time during a period of rapid growth in both the company's product offerings and customer base.

Di Piazza brings more than twenty years of enterprise global technology and expertise in marketing, product management, and business development to Guavus. Most recently Di Piazza was General Manager of Hewlett-Packard Marketing Optimization where he was responsible for HP's Autonomy Digital Experience Management products. Prior to Hewlett-Packard, Gabriele led worldwide marketing for the Operator Channels group at Microsoft, where he had also been responsible for Microsoft's Media & Entertainment business and led global business development for media solutions in wireless carriers.  Prior to Microsoft, Gabriele spent 11 years at HP in different roles in the Communications & Media industries, related to marketing & solutions management in OSS/BSS/Contact Center/Rich Media/IPTV.

Nicholas brings more than thirty years experience in the CATV and Media verticals, including demonstrable performance selling to tier-one multiple service operators (MSOs). Prior to joining Guavus, David was Senior Vice President Sales for Alticast, a leading supplier of CPE software solutions to both MSO’s and OEM partners. David has also held senior positions at the following companies respectively: iNovo Broadband (SVP Sales), Panasonic (Group VP), BigBand Networks (VP Sales), Vyyo (SVP Sales), N2 Broadband (SVP) and SVP for Concurrent Computer.
