St. Louis Distillery Expands Distribution to Illinois

ST. LOUIS - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Local micro distillery, St. Louis Distillery (http://www.stldistillery.com) announced today its distributorship agreement with Wirtz Beverage (http://www.wirtzbev.com) Illinois Belleville. The addition of Wirtz Beverage to the distillery’s distributor partners will bring Cardinal Sin Vodka and Cardinal Sin Starka to the Metro East and Southern Illinois.

“Obviously we’re excited about this new relationship. As the state’s oldest and most established distributor, we feel that Wirtz Beverage’s experience and attention to innovation and quality is a big step for our distillery,” said Greg Deters, distiller.

St. Louis Distillery introduced Cardinal Sin Vodka to the St. Louis market in 2012 and its new product Cardinal Sin Starka, America’s first starka vodka, a barrel-aged spirit, hit shelves in late 2014. Both products are currently distributed in Missouri and Georgia. Cardinal Sin is a four-time gold medal winner for taste, recognized in the exceptional category for its unique flavor characteristics and receives high praise from local retailers and mixologists.

St. Louis Distillery pushes the envelope of craft distilling by selecting only the finest American grains – specifically two-row malted barley and corn for its single-batch vodkas. Its unique single distillation and filtration process preserves the flavor and character of the spirit by carefully and precisely removing the heads and tails and focusing on the hearts of the spirit to preserve the allure of a finely crafted vodka.
