MICRODIA Ltd. (MICRODIA) showcased its full, extensive range of USB Type-C adapters, cables and On-The-Go (OTG) devices at the Computex 2015. After much anticipation, product lines finally available to quench the thirst of the consumers are the all-encompassing adapters and cables of HDMI, DVI, VGA, RJ45 and Ethernet ports and output devices. The new USB port will conform to the new USB Type-C standard finalised by the USB-IF late 2013. Since then, the unifying Type-C standard is being adopted by major computing conglomerates, from which at least two new models already retailing. Reviews highlight the challenges faced by consumers and public outcry over the obsolescence of the now ubiquitous USB2.0 devices.

The current scarcity of USB Type-C enabled products available on the market is causing much concern. As evidenced at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2015 (Spring Edition), buyers and visitors alike were focusing mainly on USB-C products that provide full compatibility between USB standards.
