Follow on Google News | Karl Strauss Kicks Off Their 26th Year with Changing of the Barrels Celebration & New Beer Releases2015 is gearing up to be an especially innovative year for Karl Strauss Brewing Company and their fans.
This year’s anniversary beer is a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Belgian Dark Strong Ale packed with dark fruit and caramel flavors, with hints of bourbon and toasted oak. The warm finish makes this beer perfect for celebrating – which is what Changing of the Barrels is all about. “We stashed away an assortment of really exciting beers for this year’s bash,” says Paul Segura, Brewmaster of Karl Strauss Brewing Company. “26 beers for 26 years! I’m especially looking forward to sharing the numerous barrel-aged offerings with our fans – it’s a showcase of some of the exciting things to come from Karl Strauss this year.” A few of the barrel-aged stand outs include Rella (their Barrel-Aged Sour with Cherries), a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tripel, the aforementioned 26th Anniversary Ale, and a very rare beer they named Who’s Your Pappy. Plus, all their taps will be flowing with limited release brews, tank taps, and plenty of Karl Strauss classics. Changing of the Barrels will also be the first chance for fans to try Karl Strauss’ full scale release of their award winning Mosaic Session Ale (http://www.karlstrauss.com/ For more information on Karl Strauss’ barrel-aged brews, sour program, Mosaic Session Ale and more, visit www.karlstrauss.com.
