San Juan County Sheriff Detectives arrest Farmington, NM man for Sexual exploitation of children

 
FARMINGTON, N.M. - Feb. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- San Juan County Sheriff Detectives arrest 48 year old Farmington man for Sexual exploitation of children (by distribution of material), Sexual Exploitation of Children (by possession)

On October 12, 2014, detectives were notified by a Special Agent from New Mexico Attorney General’s Office advising he had identified a possible subject in San Juan County area downloading “Child Pornography” and he was requesting their assistance with the investigation.

Detectives were able to identify the subject as Patrick Schuster. On December 4, 2014, they conducted search warrants on the 500 block of E. 18th street in Farmington, NM. While detectives processed the seized electronic devices images of Child Pornography were obtained. Patrick confessed during interviews that he had downloaded child pornography. He admitted to feeling guilty and would erase them after each time he downloaded photographs.

On February 4, 2015, a warrant was issued for Patrick Schuster on the charges of Sexual exploitation of children (by distribution of material), Sexual Exploitation of Children (by possession) bond was set at $50,000.00 cash only. Patrick was located and arrested the same day.

The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office is a part of the New Mexico Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Force, whose mission is to locate, track, and capture Internet child sexual predators and Internet child pornographers in New Mexico.
