INDIANAPOLIS - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Pastor Todd Burpo, father of Heaven is For Real:  The Colton Burpo Story, will give a keynote speech that’s open to the public at the National Grief & Hope Convention 2015, on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the JW Marriott Grand Ballroom in Indianapolis.  Following his keynote in which he’ll speak on loss and hope, Pastor Burpo will offer a Meet & Greet to the audience.

Based on the family’s true story of their young son experiencing heaven while clinging to life during an emergency appendectomy, Burpo’s book was released in 2010 and became a #1 New York Times bestseller.  Made into a major motion picture by Sony Pictures in 2014, the family’s story takes viewers through the events leading up to, and the aftermath of, their son’s near-death experience.

A global grief literacy event, the convention’s mission is to open the dialogue about grief and the aftermath.  Open to the public, tickets are $35 and available online at www.griefconvention.com.
