Zane Dawson Suspended 30 Days After Attacking AML Wrestling Employee

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- In a press conference held today, AML Wrestling officials announced that Zane Dawson has been suspended for 30 days. This comes after Dawson brutally attacked a member of the AML Wrestling Team, Chris Lea, during a post match interview on January 25, 2015.

"I was ringside with Zane immediately after his loss to Matt Hardy and Sean Waltman. I asked him to comment on the match and I don't remember what happened next. I was told that it looked like he nearly took my head off of my shoulders. The way my head felt the next day, I can't disagree," said Chris Lea.

"After reviewing the footage, we felt that it was necessary to suspend Mr. Dawson. Thankfully, Mr. Lea was not seriously injured. However, these types of attacks on our non-wrestling personnel will not be tolerated in AML Wrestling," said AML owner Tracy Myers.

AML Wrestling brings their monthly live events to the AML Arena, also known as Johnny & Junes. The next AML Wrestling LIVE! event is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2015. Their TV show will begin airing Saturday, March 7, 2015.
