First Miss Tennessee World is Mariel Lane

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Feb. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- It is true that the first Miss Tennessee World America, 2015 was crowned this pass Valentine day, February 14th, 2015 at the prestigious Margarittaville Island Hotel located at the Island in Pigeon Forge, TN. It is apparent that so many people are proud of this young lady for many reasons such as:

Mariel received the Outstanding Young Woman of Memphis awarded by The Memphis Women’s Magazine. She was selected and attended the January 2009 Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States. Mariel is a professional Model and Dancer. Other talents include singing and Cheering. Miss Lane is a NFL Tennessee Titans Cheerleader. In the past, she received an invitation to dance at the 2008 Orange Bowl and Canada. Miss Lane is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Public Relations with minors in Business Administration and Speech Theatre / Dance.

This young lady presently is employed with Dell as an account manager and signed with Block Agency. This queen has received numerous Community Service and Leadership Awards and Recognition on Local, State, and National Level. Her platform and passion for years has been Anti Bullying. Miss Lane believes that if there is going to be a better world, it is vital to start with the children.

Miss Lane stated that "Miss Tennessee World is an humble accomplishment and being part of the Miss World America/Miss World Organization Family is truly a dream come true. I'm blessed and I thank God for every day for everything that happens for me."

Stephi Barton Williams is the state director of Miss Tennessee World.  Mr. Christopher Wilmer was appointed as the new National Director of Miss World America in 2014. There will be a representative from each state within the United States that will compete for the Miss World America crown who will represent her country at the Miss World Pageant.
