BOSTON - Feb. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- A Boston-based cancer education nonprofit organization, Cancer Research Simplified (CRS), founded and run by an award-winning cancer immunologist, Dr. Ayguen Sahin, announces today the launch of its cancer education programs in the Russian language.

The two-year old CRS, 2014 Top-rated Non-profit Award winner by Great Nonprofits, has educational programs currently in English, German, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, and Afrikaans, which have already reached 147 countries around the globe and all states in the US.

Cancer Research Simplified helps educate patients and the public on all aspects of cancer, including current treatments, ongoing clinical trials, new FDA approvals, nutritional facts, as well as cancer prevention. More importantly, it does these in a language that is easy to understand for people with no technical background, bringing its mission into reality: Cancer Education for All™!

“We are thrilled about launching our programs now in the Russian language, which is spoken in 16 countries and by more than 167 million people. Cancer education remains a global problem, and we have aimed to tackle it,” says Dr. Sahin.

Cancer Research Simplified has recently recruited a new CRS Research Team member and Russian Translator, Ms. Anna Faustova, a clinical psychologist from Ryazan, Russia. A teacher at the General Psychology Department at Ryazan State I.P. Pavlov Medical University and current Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher at Brandeis University, Ms. Faustova has extensive experience in dealing with cancer patients and survivors. “CRS’s programs will be of tremendous help in Russia for people fighting cancer, but have no understanding of what kind of treatment they actually receive,” says Ms. Faustova, “and I am very excited to join Cancer Research Simplified because it gives me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and experience in psychology supporting and inspiring people who are fighting cancer”.

With the recruitment of Ms. Faustova, CRS is expanding its already ongoing ‘Cancer and Psychology’ programs with its monthly articles in its official journal, The Journal of Simplified Cancer Research (JSCR). Ms. Faustova’s first article for CRS will appear in JSCR’s March 2015 Issue.
