PicoBrew's KegSmarts™ Gets Social

SEATTLE - Feb. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- PicoBrew Inc., the company dedicated to technology for home craft beer creation and enjoyment, today unveiled the new social networking features of their advanced kegerator.  KegSmarts™, the world’s smartest craft beer kegerator, is the second product from the Seattle-based company:  PicoBrew just launched KegSmarts™ on Feb. 10 in a successful Kickstarter campaign.  New social networking features include automatic Twitter tweets and Facebook posts when beer is poured, when new beer kegs are tapped, when kegs are low or empty, and to warn of error conditions.

The KegSmarts™ product focuses on addressing the shortcomings of today’s in-home craft beer experience. Canned and bottled beer cannot match the freshness, choice, environmental-friendliness and cost of craft beer kegs. Simple kegerators are not capable of displaying information about the beer being dispensed, the amount of beer remaining or controlling critical experiential elements like serving temperature.  KegSmarts™ addresses these deficiencies and brings information, control, and now social networking to the home craft beer experience.
