About Rich Caruso:

Rich is an experienced Hi-Tech industry executive with a strong background in both Communications Systems & Enterprise Software product development, and Management Consulting & Services.

He began his career in Communications product development and has held product development and general management executive positions at: Bell Labs where he was VP R&D responsible for one of the largest and most successful software projects in Bell Labs history; Telcordia/Ericsson where he was Corporate VP of Network Architecture and Requirements; Nortel Networks were he was President of the Data Center IP Networking Division; and IBM where he was Global GM of Solutions for the Communications and Media Industries and ran a 900M portfolio of  software and services solutions.

Later in his career he stepped over into the Management Consulting and Services industry and held executive positions in delivery, business development and general management at IBM, KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint, TCS, and most recently GlobalLogic from 2010 to 2014 where he was GM of the Communications, Healthcare, Hi-Tech & Automotive Industries and ran an $80M+ portfolio of outsourced IT & Product Development Services.

Rich has degrees in Engineering and Computer Science from Rutgers and Newark College of Engineering.  He is a frequent panelist and speaker at Hi-Tech and Services industry events, and is a Senior Member IEEE.  He also holds several patents in IP Networking and Enterprise Software.
