Crane Sentry™ System to Be Unveiled at ProMat 2015

CHESTER SPRINGS, Pa. - March 5, 2015 - PRLog -- DIMETIX USA today announced the release of the Crane Sentry™ system, a modular, intuitive laser distance sensor-based crane monitoring system. Crane Sentry™ features a simple, teachable color touch screen display, and is available with a variety of options to ensure compatibility with almost any industrial working environment.

Using a crane to move a payload is not an easy task, especially when strict specifications on speed, position, and transfer time need to be satisfied. Crane Sentry™ provides a modular, easily configurable and economical approach to monitoring crane position, detecting potential collisions, and controlling speed. NOTE: The Crane Sentry™ system is NOT a crane collision avoidance system. The system should be used to complement, NOT as a substitute for, compliance with industry standard best practices and applicable safety regulations.
