Brot und Spiele GmbH Sells Spieletipps.de to GIGA AG

FRANKFURT, Germany - March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Bad Homburg, Germany, March 2015 | German publishing house Brot und Spiele GmbH announces the selling of their major gaming website spieletipps.de to GIGA Digital AG as part of an asset deal. Both parties did not comment on the price. Founders Thorsten Rühl and Matthias Groß will stay on board in a consulting function.

Spieletipps.de is specialized in providing information about video games. With more than 2.5 million unique users it is one of the Top 100 German websites (as per AGOF November 2014, ages 10 and above). Spieletipps.de offers an entertaining mix of news, reviews and tips about the most popular games for PC and consoles on a daily basis. The Spieletipps brand is also well-known in the social web: The corresponding Facebook page boasts 1.2 Million fans; the Youtube channel featuring the iconic host “Onkel Jo” has accumulated more than 18 Million views.
