Family & Children’s Association Named Cota Partner Of The Year By Nassau County District Attorney

March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- a program of the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office that focuses on helping individuals from communities that are economically or socially repressed. This award was given in recognition of Family & Children’s Association’s ongoing commitment to COTA and in appreciation for the agency’s vocational, educational and chemical dependency treatment services. Presenting the award, Acting D.A. Madeline Singas noted, "The Family and Children's Association is a vital part of the community and an invaluable partner for my office. Together we work to assist Nassau residents looking for new ways to lead safe, healthy and productive lives in their communities. We are so proud to honor the work of Jeff Reynolds and FCA, and look forward to many more years of collaboration."

Family & Children’s Association also received an award from Village of Hempstead Mayor Wayne Hall for outstanding service to the community.  Receiving the awards, FCA President/CEO Jeffrey L. Reynolds, Ph.D. said, “we are grateful to Acting D.A. Singas and Mayor Hall for this recognition and are grateful for these public/private partnerships as we work together to improve the lives of Long Island’s most vulnerable individuals and families.”
