Solair joins the Eclipse Foundation and establishes a partnership with Kura

BOLOGNA, Italy - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Solair has joined the Eclipse Foundation (http://www.eclipse.org/), an open source community with millions of users focused on building an open development platform. It is a non-profit foundation thatthrough its projects helps cultivate an open source community and an ecosystem of complementary products and services.

“We chose Kura because we were motivated by our mission to offer end-to-end IoT solutions to our customers” explains Tom Davis, CEO of Solair. “Kura is one of a kind: it gives us the tools to develop high level applications above our gateway. In practice, it means that we can develop on a low-level on devices and allows us to have a more vertical and upward application development. We are one of the pioneers using Kura and this means that we can work closely with the developers for a continuous dialogue and exchange of information. We want to continue to contribute and invest in projects by companies that simplify the implementation of IoT technology.”
