Quick Med Medical clinic now open in Ashland

ASHLAND, Ky. - March 10, 2015 - PRLog -- ASHLAND, KY., March 9, 2015: Today, CORE Health Centers of Ashland announced the opening of their brand new Quick Med medical clinic.   Quick Med is located inside the CORE Health Centers Ashland, KY location and will provide area residents with convenient, quality, affordable healthcare.

Quick Med will be open five days a week with most major health insurance accepted. For patients paying cash or credit, a list of prices for services will posted in the clinic and made available online at www.corequickmed.net.  The cost for most services starts at $75.00.

Quick Med nurse practitioners and physician assistants will be able to diagnose and treat common family illnesses such as strep throat, ear infections, sinus infections, congestion and upper respiratory symptoms.  Minor injuries, wounds, skin conditions, migraine headaches, and joint pain and sprains will also be treated.   In-addition, Quick Med will be able to provide patients with complete non-narcotic, non-surgical solutions for pain management.

“We want to play a complementary role in working with primary care providers.” said Dan VanHoose, Nurse Practitioner, Quick Med.  “Many patients do not have a personal physician and we want to help them find a medical home.”
