Columbia College Hollywood Launches Pro Tools - Audio Recording Certificate Program

The Pro Tools - Audio Recording Certificate Program at CCH allows students to work in world-class sound recording facilities and develop the necessary hands-on skills and experience that will prepare them for career success.

COLUMBIA COLLEGE HOLLYWOOD's latest program offering expands the options available to students as they pursue their passion in digital audio recording, sound editing, mixing, game audio and more. Officials at CCH explain, “The ins-and-outs of the audio engineering world are just the beginning.  Our Sound Recording program teaches all levels of the official AVID coursework necessary to pass the Pro Tools Operator-level and Expert-level exams for music or post production.”

With the new audio recording certificate program offering training related to AVID Pro Tools, Music Recording and Production, Post Production Sound, Sound Design, Dialogue Editing, Game Audio, and Stereo and Surround Digital Mixing Techniques, graduates of this certificate program will be well prepared to enter the industry and make significant contributions.

This full - or part-time certificate program is intended to last 12 months, and students are required to complete 64 credit hours of coursework. Start dates are flexible, and ensure that all applicants have the opportunity to begin quickly once accepted. Students can apply online, and must have a high school diploma or GED and submit a personal essay to be considered for admission. Financial aid may be available to qualifying students.
