Aries Apparel Launches “Other Bracket Challenge”

March 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Leading Women’s athletic apparel, supply and specialty gear retailer, Aries Apparel has launched a unique “bracket challenge” contest, but it’s not the one you may be thinking of.  True to its mission of providing women with “all they need to play the game”, Aries Apparel’s bracket challenge is for the Women’s NCAA Basketball tournament.

The bracket was released by the NCAA Women’s tournament selection committee last night.  The contest winner will receive a $100 Aries Apparel gift card.

To participate, contestants can pick up your copy of the 2015 Women’s NCAA Div. 1 Tourney bracket at either Aries Apparel location or download it at http://www.ncaa.com/interactive-bracket/basketball-women/d1 .

“It’s March Madness time and so much of the attention goes to the men’s tournament.  We only sell women’s sports apparel and gear, so it’s only fitting we shine the spotlight on the women’s tournament” said Diana Marsden, owner of Aries Apparel.

To enter customers can legibly fill out the complete bracket. They need to fill out their name, phone number, and email address on your bracket. In addition to completing the bracket, they must also pick a final score total – how many total points will be scored in the national championship game – as a Tie Breaker. The Person closest to the final score WITHOUT going over wins in case of a tie.  When completed contestants can Fax their completed bracket to 503-690-1966 by midnight Thursday March 19^th, or drop it off at either Aries store by 7pm Thursday March 19th. All prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the tournament.

Win-Point System:

First Round= 1 point per win

Second Round = 2 points per win

Sweet 16 = 3 points per win

Elite Eight – 4 points per win

Final Four = 6 points per win

Champion = 8 points for the win

The person with the most points after the championship game will claim the top prize, a $100

Aries Gift Card!  2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishers will receive a $15 Aries Gift Card and an Aries Apparel water bottle.  All participants will receive a $5 Aries Gift Card. Gift cards of the greatest value will be awarded to winners – they are not cumulative. Prizes will be available for 30 days after the final game.
