The Venue Las Vegas and Wente Vineyards Announce Winemaker’s Dinner, May 7

LAS VEGAS - March 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The Venue Las Vegas’ Connoisseur Club and Wente Vineyards of Livermore, California are partnering to present the Winemaker’s Dinner on Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m. Karl Wente, Fifth Generation Winemaker of America’s oldest, continuously operated family-owned winery, will be in attendance.

“I’m thrilled to partner with The Venue Las Vegas and its Connoisseur Club to present this Winemaker’s Dinner,” said Wente. “Between the culinary delights presented and the wines I’ve selected to complement the menu, guests can expect to encounter a savory experience they won’t soon forget.”

This will be the first event for The Venue Las Vegas, a 38,430-square-foot premier special event facility in Downtown Las Vegas, and its Connoisseur Club. The Winemaker’s Dinner features a decadent four-course meal created by Chef Matt Contreras of The Venues Group, and includes a seared diver scallop appetizer, cast iron Scottish salmon salad, an entrée course of Moroccan spiced lamb chops, and Tahitian vanilla bean goat cheese cake for dessert. Vegetarian options will also be available.

“It’s been a creative pleasure designing a menu that matches the heritage, passion, and hand-crafted wines of Wente Vineyards,” Contreras said. “We’re going to make a memorable impression on the taste buds of every dinner guest.”
