Napa Valley Wealth Management Hits Record High in Charitable Giving

ST. HELENA, Calif. - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Napa Valley Wealth Management (NVWM) sponsored its sixth annual Holiday Matching Gift program and the response was overwhelmingly positive: participating NVWM clients and staff came together and donated nearly $16,000 to 37 charities whose reach spans the US and nations abroad. The contribution totals and number of benefitting charities well exceeded previous years.

Every year, NVWM partners with clients who donate to a qualified non-profit of their choosing. Last holiday season, the 37 benefitting charities represented causes ranging from wildlife conversation to arts initiatives to nearby food banks and more. Charities funded include: Heifer International, which gifts livestock to impoverished families in 30 countries; The Wounded Warrior Project, which has provided services to 39,000 injured veterans; and the local Napa Emergency Women’s Shelter, which provides safety, shelter, and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Holiday Matching Gift program is one part of community engagement at NVWM. “Our clients and employees fully support the work that non-profits do to make our local and global communities a better place,” says Founder and Chief Investment Officer Kelly Crane. Crane is an active member of many local non-profits, including the Rotary Clubs of Saint Helena and the Saint Helena Schools Foundation Endowment Trust Board. This spring Crane celebrates his 31st year as a wealth manager.
