Virtalis Visionary Render Software Solution Selected by Raytheon

SALE, U.K. - March 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Virtalis’ Visionary Render advanced visualization software solution was selected by Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business for use in its Immersive Design Center environment in the company’s Andover, MA facility.
The new Visionary Render environment enables Raytheon's engineering and manufacturing teams to collaborate with partners and suppliers on product designs in ways they never have before, by leveraging stereoscopic 3D and augmented-reality technologies. In addition to enhancing collaboration, the 3D models and Virtual Reality (VR) systems are also enhancing the company's customer presentations.

Visionary Render is Virtalis’ advanced digital mock-up visualization software solution which allows users to access and experience a real-time, interactive and immersive VR environment created from large 3D datasets. Users can work alone, in small groups, or collaborate with distant colleagues in a common virtual environment to perform detailed design reviews, rehearse in-depth training tasks, validate maintenance procedures and verify assembly and manufacturing processes.
