This is an entry-level position that requires at least two years of armed security experience and one year of customer service experience. As a patrol officer for Unity One, Inc., they are responsible in promoting security and safety within condominium, apartment, commercial, and HOA communities. Officers are trained to use a proactive methodology of “Deterrence through Presence” rather than the traditional “observe and report only” that most other security agencies employ. This method sets Unity One, Inc. apart in their quality of work and effectiveness in securing areas they patrol. Training will be constant in the realms of de-escalation of potential conflicts, Use of Force Continuum, community interaction, weapon systems, and many others.

A patrolman will work closely with community managers, residents, neighborhood watch programs, and Las Vegas Metro Police Department. The duties of the officer includes, but is not limited to, handling domestic disputes, responding to noise complaints, parking enforcement, reporting maintenance and safety hazard issues, and enforcing established community rules and regulations.

Individual’s interested in applying must be willing to obtain a Nevada Concealed Carry Weapons permit. Experience in the military and law enforcement is preferred.
