Follow on Google News | Midlands entrepreneur launches two premium auto centresSolihull based businessman Kam Saleem has opened the doors to his latest business venture, MotorServ UK with centres located in Coventry and Solihull.
By: MotorServ UK Following a six-figure investment, which enabled him to take over the management of a previous automotive company, Kamran Saleem, aged 33, has opened the doors to his own independent car and van servicing outlets. Branded MotorServ-UK, located in Monkspath Business Park and in Coventry, the new business is billed as a fresh alternative to the region’s franchised dealers, offering motorists all makes vehicle servicing. A resident of Solihull all his life, Saleem attended Aston University Business School, where he developed a taste for entrepreneurship. As well as founding MotorServ-UK, Mr Saleem is also a director of a major Birmingham-based accountancy and asset finance business. Commenting on his latest venture, he said: “I am proud to have been born, bred and schooled in Solihull, where I discovered I was only good at Maths and Business Studies. Getting to run my own businesses has been an amazing and often difficult journey and I’m looking forward to the challenge of growing MotorServ-UK into a respected brand. It’s a highly competitive market but I will serve the local community to the best of my ability.” The launch of the new automotive business has created 14 jobs across both sites. In an online poll of 2,300 drivers, there was an 8 per cent increase in the average price people were expecting to pay for a new car with premium marques Audi, BMW and Mercedes featuring in the top five of desirable brands.
