GRAND BLANC, Mich. - April 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Keeping Us Safe (http://www.keepingussafe.org/) has received the distinct honor of being selected to speak at the 2015 Elder Advocacy and Law Boot Camp scheduled for May 15, 2015.  The event is being sponsored by the Mannor Law Group (http://www.michiganeplc.com/) of Grand Blanc, Michigan.

The one-day seminar is ideal for social workers, nursing home administrators and others who want to be active in learning innovative solutions to critical elder care issues. This year’s event will be held at the Genesys Conference and Banquet Center in Grand Blanc.

Matt Gurwell, founder of Keeping Us Safe, explains that he is very excited to have the opportunity to participate in this year’s Boot Camp.  “Michigan ranks as one of the top 10 states in traffic fatalities involving drivers 65 and older.”  Gurwell explains, “Our ‘Beyond Driving with Dignity’ program is designed to prevent such tragedies.  I am honored to have been asked by the Mannor Law Group to speak with elder care professionals from across the state of Michigan on this very important issue.”
