The Ishaya Foundation raffles new Honda Civic LX in Rolla, MO

ROLLA, Mo. - April 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Saint James, MO: What could be better than winning a new car? Answer: Supporting a local non-profit. The Ishaya Foundation, located in St. James, MO is selling tickets for a chance to win a new Honda Civic LX 4 door Sedan in Modern Steel Color with a 2 tone interior.

The price per ticket is 1 for $10 or 3 for $25.   “We loved the idea of being able to give a new car to someone for just $10!” said Arya, from The Ishaya Foundation.  Tickets will be sold until 8 pm July 25, 2015; then, the prize-winning ticket will be drawn during half-time at the Demolition Derby at the Phelps County Fair.  The winner does not need to be present to win.

The car itself is valued at about $18,000.  Many people are not aware that when you win a non-cash prize, you are required to make an immediate payment of the federal taxes in order to claim the prize.  Arya was excited to report, “The Ishaya Foundation will also be paying the Federal taxes, which are worth about $4,500!  In addition, the dealer was supportive of this opportunity and will provide a life-time warranty on the drive-train of this car”.

A recent buyer commented, “With only 10,000 tickets printed, the odds of winning are excellent.  So, I am purchasing tickets for a graduation present and another for a friend’s birthday.”

Tickets can be purchased at Mary Ann’s in Rolla (607 No Rolla), Bella Rouge Boutique at Tara Day Spa (1081 E 18^th, St, Rolla), or Country Feeds (14550 Co Rd 2210 in St. James).  You will also see volunteers having fun selling tickets around the community at a variety of retail locations such as Wal-Mart, MotoMart, etc. and even other nearby communities such as Cuba and Waynesville.  The tickets must be purchased in Missouri, but can be purchased by any US resident over 18 years old.

You don’t want to be like the guy who got to heaven and wanted to find God to ask his most nagging question, “I always wanted to win something, but I ever win did.  Why didn’t you answer my prayer??”  God replied, “Because you never bought a ticket!”
