ASUSTOR Upgrades LooksGood with Media Converter Support

The new Media Converter function allows users to configure a Smart Conversion Folder and utilize exclusive Hyper-Transcoding technology amongst other new features.



Media Converter: Utilizes background file conversions to overcome issues with non-supported codecs on mobile devices or videos that are unable to play smoothly. Via Media Converter, users can enjoy a smooth and stress-free playback experience on mobile devices.

Smart Conversion Folder: Users can configure a folder as their Smart Conversion Folder. For files placed in the Smart Conversion Folder, the system will automatically analyze current system resource conditions before automatically commencing or stopping file conversions. Additionally, Converting Task Scheduling allows the system to convert only during the specified time periods for better system resource allocation.

Hyper-Transcoding: Hyper-Transcoding is an exclusive technology developed exclusively by ASUSTOR. This technology utilizes the Intel CPU hardware acceleration function to make video file conversions faster and simpler than ever before. Using Hyper-Transcoding to convert video files can reduce the normal conversion time by at least 10 times.
