Ashley Russo Emcee’s the Donley Awards

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - April 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Ashley Russo, Emmy® award winning Executive Producer and President of ASR Media Productions, will emcee the 20^th Annual Inez and Edward Donley Award for Children’s Advocacy on April 17, 2015, 12:00 noon at the DeSales University Center.  The event will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of Head Start nationally and in the region. Community Services for Children was one of the early adopters of the program and a commemorative video, produced by ASR Media Productions, will be unveiled at the luncheon.

Community Services for Children will present the Inez and Edward Donley Award for Children’s Advocacy to Michelle Zenie, Executive Director of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley and Beverly Bradley with Cops 'n' Kids.  The judges who made these selections were Thomas Daub, Dr. John Van Brankle and Thomas Donley.

“I am pleased to be the emcee at this years Donley Awards and to be supporting such a great cause within the Lehigh Valley community.” said Ashley Russo, commenting on her duty as emcee.  “We have worked closely with Mr. Donley, his family, CSC, PCFLV, and Cops 'n' Kids over the years and I am honored to be a part of this important event.”

Since 1985, Community Service for Children has presented this prestigious award for public service that helps many children in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Donley were the first recipients of the award and are still honored each year.
