By: HMN Entertainment Hosted by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam, and sponsored by The Jack Daniel Distillery, this elegant fundraising event provides the primary source of revenue for the annual operation of the Tennessee State Museum Foundation. Award-winning vocalist, Connie Smith will also perform at the event, covering the classic ballad “Tennessee Waltz” for which the gala is named. Faulkner is a talented 16-year-old singer/songwriter who attends Brentwood High School in the Greater Nashville area and writes critically acclaimed music between homework and babysitting her younger siblings. She has been generating a huge buzz since she was featured in the popular multi-platform series, “Waking Up In America.” The gifted young performer currently is an artist in residence at Valentino’s in Nashville, and has been privileged to perform for the IndieCares Concert Series, the Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Benefit Gala and the Women In Film & Television Spring event.
