By: Alliance of Aids Services – Carolina Barbara Boney Campbell formerly operated an extensive catering business while devoting her time and energy to community organizations. Ms. Campbell has been a Member of the State Capitol Foundation Board since 1993 and served as Chair of the Raleigh Historic District Commission from 1987 to 1992. She has also served in the following roles: Founding Chair, Wake County Historic Preservation Commission, 1994–1996; Fenita Morris-Shepard graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989 and earned her Juris Doctorate at North Carolina Central University law school in 1992. Ms. Morris-Shepard was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division in the Eastern District of North Carolina for eight years. She has held numerous in-house counsel positions including Assistant General Counsel, Wachovia Bank, N.A., General Counsel of the North Carolina Education Lottery, and is currently Litigation Counsel for Laboratory Corporation of America (“LabCorp”) Mark West is currently the Manager of Special Events and Conventions for the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Research Triangle Park, NC. Mr. West’s community involvement includes: Steering Committee, Raleigh Contemporary Art Gallery; Member and VP, ISES-International Special Events Society; past Event Chair, Triangle Heart Strings; and Member, Crape Myrtle Festival Court, 1990 and 1996, as well as festival Co-Chair in 2003.
