An Event Full of Spirituality and Knowledge at Greater Noida Institute of Technology

GREATER NOIDA, India - April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- GNIOT Group of Institutions organized an event with the motive of overall development of its students. In this event two seminar- ‘importance of Isha Kriya in Meditation’ and ‘Personality development’ were held. More than 150 students from all the branches of Management and PGDM participated. Meditation seminar was headed by Deepak Chaturvedi- Film Maker and seminar on personality development was presided by Dinesh Sharma- Image Consultant Group. The event went well in the supervision of Placement Head, GNIOT- Prashant Khare.

Talking about the benefits of Isha Kriya, Deepak Chaturvedi said that it would help to increase concentration, health, efficiency in work and immunity, if done on a regular basis. Talking about its impact on youngsters, he said that it channelizes their energy, focusses it and direct towards success.

Seminar on personality development was very interactive. Dinesh Sharma said that only two things- opportunity and skills, can get success in the present industrial environment. Skills are important once you get selected for a job to retain and grow successfully. To get selected, students first need to identify their strengths and capabilities, and grow them. This will lead their efforts in the right direction and then they will be able to choose their dream company and career rather than chosen by them. He also added, “knowledge plays only 7% role in the selection and rest 97% soft skills, includes a way of speaking, dressing and expressing,  help you get selected”. He also suggested students to update their resume, highlighting their skills.
