OWN It Tour: Leave Your Past, OWN Your Truth, and Create the Life You've Dreamed Of

ATLANTA - April 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Women Empowerment! Virtuous Woman! Women Supporting other Women! If this describes you then the OWN It Tour is for YOU. OWN It is a one day women's conference set to push women into their rightful place of truth, ownership and power.

Yandy Smith's Everything Girls Love Magazine (egl) will serve as the media sponsor for the New York and D.C. stops, and Lavalier Magazine will serve as the media sponsor for the Houston stop.

The conference will feature a Woman2Woman forum and empowerment workshops to inspire, uplift, and empower women through a host of interactive discussions, presentations and motivational speakers. The forum will include an opening empowerment message and issue-focused plenary panel discussion. The empowerment workshops will feature an empowerment moment that enables women to share their journey to business and breakthrough success and a keynote address.

OWN It Tour will be stopping in 8 cities: New York (5/9), Charlotte (5/16), Tennessee (5/17), Miami (5/23), Dallas (5/30), Houston (5/31), Arizona (6/6), and DMV (6/13).
Speakers from around the country are set to join the OWN It Tour to motivate women, network with women to help them build a solid foundation, and give them advice on how to become business savvy and a successful business woman.
OWN It will be an annual conference aimed to evoke action and encourage collaboration, partnership, and support amongst all women.

ABOUT NICHOLE BESS

Nichole Bess, a born leader hailing from Baltimore, MD and mom of two, began her career in fashion in New York. While working as an intern for Russell and Kimora Lee Simons, during New York Fashion Week, she was introduced to super model Naomi Campbell. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Bess began working for Campbell’s PR firm, NC Connect. It was there she discovered her love for public relations. Although she studied Fashion Design and Marketing at the International Academy of Design, PR came to her naturally. She worked closely with the VP of NC Connect and as a result, was afforded the opportunity to work with fashion designers Betsey Johnson, Esteban Cortazar, Rosa Cha and Diesel.

Ms. Bess’ public relations career is one that many would consider successful and glamorous. She established her own firm after just one year in the business, at the tender age of 20. She was able to travel and work on several major projects. 10 years later her work has been featured in Italian Vogue, CNN, Ebony, 106 & Park, CBS and Cosmopolitan, just to name a few. She found that seeing people’s dream come true was both fulfilling and gratifying.

In 2015, Ms. Bess wanted to begin leaving footprints throughout the world by giving of herself and empowering women to become change-agents. As she begins to blaze this trail of Empowerment Coaching and Speaking, her plans are to assist women in finding their healing and purpose. Her signature talk, campaign and tour is entitled "Be You Grow You"- Set to sweep the nation starting this Spring. This global tour will host a variety of women known for leadership, entrepreneurship, finding purpose and healing. Ms. Bess will provide a life-changing environment for women to engage in networking and being empowered.
