Goa Wildlife Sanctuaries Tour Destination

It is just 57 kilometres far from Panaji city. This sanctuary main attractions are Dudhsagar Falls, hundrdes years old Mahadeva Temple, Butterflies, Birds, Mammals, Flora and fauna.

Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary: It is a bird sanctuary which located chorao island near of the Mandovi river, North Goa. It is spread in 440 acres area land which is just 8.5 kilometers far from capital of the state panaji city. This bird sanctuary is established in 1988. Sanctuary main attractions are many species of the birds like  jack snipe, red knot, little bittern, black bittern and pied avocet.

Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary: It is located in Canacona Taluka, South Goa district. which is just 70 kilometers far from panaji city. Sanctuary has cottage, library, canteen and children park. This sanctuary is famous for different animals like malabar trogon, mouse deer, antelope.speckled piculet, draco and flying lizard etc.
