JAP Premier FC Bakersfield Newest Team to Join Expanding United Premier Soccer League

TORRANCE, Calif. - April 29, 2015 - PRLog -- April 29, 2015 – Torrance, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (www.upslsoccer.com) today announced today its newest member to the Northwest Conference, JAP Premier FC Bakersfield. The newly formed club which is a fusion of two established community based soccer team’s looks to make an immediate impact in the upcoming May 2015 UPSL season.

Emmanuel De-Alba Owner/President of JAP Premier FC Bakersfield said, “We are very pleased to become a member of the UPSL as this is a league that has a business model that makes good business sense to us both on and off the field. The geographical proximity of UPSL teams is only getting stronger in our area and that’s important if we are going to be part of a Pro Development league for the long haul. We have assembled a strong nucleus of players and coaches that we feel can set the tone for years to come. We look forward to the season getting started and competing with all the other UPSL players and teams on the field.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said. “This is a big move for our league to expand out of the L.A. market up north, however; we are really starting to gain some traction across California with now over 30 teams for the 2015 season and Central and Northern California are really starting to take shape. This is all about keeping budgets at a reasonable levels where teams can profit and keep travel costs down by having local competitive teams playing against each other not five hours away from each.”

The UPSL now consists of three conferences spanning across Southern and Central California; which include Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, Santa Clarita Valley, Kern County and the Inland Empire.

The (UPSL) United Premier Soccer League was formed in 2011. The UPSL currently operates 26 teams all based in Southern California with 30 plus teams for 2015 campaign. With the addition of new clubs, the United Premier Soccer League is Southern California’s fastest growing Pro Development League. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining UPSL minimum standards.
