My personal experience with DVDFab Blu-ray Copy (mac)

April 30, 2015 - PRLog -- I’d always been a movie fan, and in fact had watched thousands of movies in various subjects. I had watched every military movie ever made because the military was my way of life. For a long time, I tried to get powerful and user friendly software to copy my Blu-ray on My Mac. I have a huge collection of discs, like around 100 and most of them are Blu-ray discs. As you know,  Blu-ray is very expensive, and I also get three kids. It’s very important for me to protect my original disc from the kids. So I did a lot of work to search software which could copy perfect Blu-ray. I got DVDFab in the top. Then I browsed their official website, I found it’s a perfect tool for me. I become a huge advocate and evangelist for all things of DVDFab blu-ray copy (http://www.dvdfab.cn/blu-ray-copy.htm) after I trailed this software!

It allowed 30 days free trail. You can download the software and use it in full function without purchase a key. I need to say it’s very smart and so easy to understand.

When you open DVDfab 9 by double click the smart money shortcut, you can see this main screen of the software.

You need to manfully choose Copy option firstly. There are many copy modes. Usually I use main movie and full disc mode to copy.

"Full Disc" copies the whole content including all movies, menus and trailers; "Main Movie" just copies the longest movie title; “Customize” allows you to copy whichever movie titles you like; "Clone/Burn" makes perfect 1:1 bit-to-bit copy of Blu-ray or burn Blu-ray Folder/ISO onto disc.

After selected copy mode, you need to take a note of the output setting. If you choose BD25 1080p, DVD Fab will compress the material to make it fit one BD25 disc and if you choose BD50, DVD Fab will make a copy with no compression and burn to double layer blank BD50 disc.

The next step, you just need to set the “save to” path. You can save as iso or folder file on your hard drive or nas and you can also choose burner as target, in this case you need a blank disc.

Here, you may ask a question, what is iso file? An iso file, often called an iso image, is a single file, perfect representation of an entire CD, DVD, or BD. The entire contents of a disc can be precisely duplicated in a single iso file.

You can think of an iso file like a box that holds all the parts to something that needs built - like a child's toy you might buy that requires assembly.

Folder is another format of container. There should be a folder with the movies name inside that there should be a BDMV and a CERTIFICATE folder like this.

Please note, most player can’t play the iso file directly, you need to mount with virtual drive before you try to play, but DVDFab Media Player could do that directly.

You’ve almost down everything. The last step, click on “Start”, you can begin the copy process.

Now, you can just take a cup of coffee and wait for the copied disc eject from the burner.
