Is Legal Match worth investing in if your are an attorney trying to generate new client leads? We asked several industry experts and their answers may surprise you.

DETROIT - April 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Is Legalmatch.com worth investing for your legal practice?

According to several different lawyers, there are significant drawbacks.

According to principal attorney Edgar, “It is ridiculously expensive than they have one sided draconian contracts.”  Edgar continues to say that he “highly doubts they have 83% renewal rates.”

According to attorneys Robert, Cynthia, and Stephen, the program “should be avoided”.  They added that “it is expensive and cumbersome” and that you would “do yourself a favor by avoiding it”.

According to adoption attorney Douglas, he says he "was approached by Legal match and after doing is due diligence concluded that they do not give you exclusively leads".  Through extensive research, he was surprised to find out that that at the San Francisco Superior Court, Legalmatch.com is suing hundreds of lawyers for defaulting on these contracts.  He believes that if their service worked “so many lawyers would not be defaulting and they would be happy to pay the fees”.

According to entrepreneurial attorney Judith, “the main problem is that they lack the system for getting the right clients to the right lawyers.”  She added that she got many “inapplicable referrals and people that did not want to pay”.

Several lawyers who had beneficial experiences with Legal Match state that it is anything but "hands off".

According to attorney Bonnie, “it is a great deal of work and expensive to cultivate a client from their system”.

According to senior attorney at law Charles, he finds it “useful but a lot of work in building a client base”.

Is LegalMatch.com worth the investment?

According to several industry experts, that can only be evaluated by properly comparing the alternatives. What are the alternatives?

According to attorney marketing expert Frankie Fihn, “It is a much more wise and prudent idea to learn how to generate your own client leads without paying an overpriced third party.  This is especially true since Legal Match is reported to be a lot of work for lawyers anyway.  It kind of defeats the purpose to spend a lot of money if you're also going to have to invest significant effort to attract many low quality leads. The smartest thing you can do is to generate business on your own. You are better off having control of your own practice."

For a limited time, Frankie’s company is currently giving away a free program for attorneys to generate their own client leads at no cost.  For more information, please go to http://lawyerclients.com.
