Mark created his flagship brew, Insolence, in the way of ancient artisans and scientists.

For the past 8 years, he has worked in his Marshall, Wisconsin laboratory/brewery, meticulously studying the process of beer-making, and practicing his craft.  Like the greatest scientists and craftsmen throughout history, he has followed his passion for craft beer and his penchant for bending the rules of beer-making to offer a one-of-a-kind taste experience in every beer he creates.

Bent Kettle Brewing is now ready to share Mark’s most innovative, award winning, original, and taste-bud tantalizing craft beers with the world, starting with "Insolence".

Insolence is a Double IPA.

Brewed with non-typical IPA malts and hard to obtain hops which have exceptional flavors, it’s a darker amber instead of the usual pale golden color, medium body and a big hops presence including citrus and tropical fruit flavors and aromas.

Insolence is currently being brewed in a larger quantity through the help of Page Buchanan at House of Brews located in Madison.
