Axiomtek's P1177S-881 a 17” Touch Panel PC with 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processor

The P1177S-881 is equipped with a 17-inch SXGA TFT LCD display and IP65 compliant front bezel. This rugged slim-type panel PC supports 4^th Generation Intel^® Core™ i7/i5/i3 or Celeron^® processors in an LGA1150 socket with the Intel^® H81 Express chipset. With dual-display capability, the P1177S-881 is a highly integrated and easy--to-use and maintain platform designed for factory automation, kiosks, and many other industrial applications.

“Built with user-friendliness in mind, the P1177S-881 offers a slim mechanism design,” said Debbie Tu, production manager for Axiomtek’s Product Marketing Division. “The system has a robust, slim aluminum casing with IP65/NEMA 4 compliant front bezel, which makes it suitable to operate in many extreme and space-constricting environments. The new touch panel computer offers workstation-level performance and features VGA, HDMI, Wi-Fi connectivity and built-in speakers, making it an excellent solution for both automation and kiosk fields. Additionally, the P1177S-881’s many useful features include a smart fan to automatically adjust the fan speed in response to the fluctuation of the temperature of the CPU for increased system reliability. For enhanced integration flexibility and expandability, this all-in-one unit supports four COM ports and two USB 3.0 ports.”

Dual monitor display

If larger viewing area is desired, an additional display can be connected via the system’s VGA or HDMI port to help enhance worker’s productivity level.

Speaker and WLAN antenna (optional) supported

The scalable P1177S-871 features built-in speakers which can be used for multimedia content displays on kiosk applications. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n module and antenna for wireless network connectivity up to 150Mbps data rate. By plugging in the WLAN module, users can have instant access to wireless LAN/GPRS/GSM/3G.

Friendly Less Screw Design

The P1177S-881 is designed with ease of maintenance in mind. There are only three screws on the back chassis, so that technicians can quickly remove the system’s back cover with minimum effort.

IP65/NEMA 4 water/dust-proof front bezel design

To withstand harsh operating environments, the application ready panel computer is made with a robust mechanical design and has an IP65/NEMA 4 water/dust-proof protection from spillage.

Full I/O and more features

Axiomtek’s P1177S-871 includes rich interfaces such as VGA, HDMI, four COM ports (3 x RS-232, 1 x RS-232/422/485), two USB 3.0, four USB 2.0, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and audio ports (line-out and mic-in). It has two DDR3 SO-DIMM sockets supporting a maximum of up to 16 GB and one 3.5” or two 2.5” SATA HDD drive bay. Furthermore, this unit can be installed using a panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm or desktop stand depending on the application need.
