Sciformix Corporation Announces Third Annual Social Impact Initiative on Company’s Founding Day

May 7, 2015 - PRLog -- 07 May 2015, Boston, MA – Sciformix Corporation, a leading Scientific Process Organization (SPO), has announced its 3rd Social Impact Initiative (SII) day will take place on May 7^th, 2015 – the Company’s founding day. Sciformix has experienced significant YOY growth and the leadership team has instilled in their employees the notion of giving back to the local communities in which they work. The day, introduced by Manish Soman, President and CEO, involves over 750 Sciformix employees, leaving their offices to volunteer their time to local charities in India, the Philippines and the United States.

Employees work at grassroots within local communities setting up medical camps, and spending time with orphans, animals, the elderly and those less fortunate than themselves. Some of the chosen charities include Tunga Gaon Charitable Trust, Mumbai, where qualified medical practitioner employees will dispense essential and often life saving medicines from the medical camp. Additionally, volunteers assist Jeevan Asha Old Age Homes to distribute food, amenities, and spend time with the elderly. In Pune, Sciformix teams support schools and orphanages for underprivileged children, including Akanksha Foundation and Maher orphanage..

Further visits are undertaken in Manila, The Philippines, by Sciformix teams setting up a medical mission for 190 families and an immersion activity for 200 children in a former dumpsite. In the USA, Sciformix teams volunteer with Marlborough Community Services Food Pantry and Boys and Girls Club in Hudson to assist young people in sports, learning activities and familiarizing young people with computer equipment.

After the success of the first two Social Impact Initiative days, Manish Soman, President and CEO of Sciformix, comments, “Volunteering is a key area where we feel we can give something back to our local communities and respond to the needs of our communities.
