Super Runway Model Katia will Host this year’s annual “The Pinnacle Awards”

NEW YORK - May 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Super Runway Model Katia will be hosting this year’s annual “The Pinnacle Awards” charity event and Red Carpet which is held during National Foster Care Month.  This event is held each year to help raise awareness and funds to educate and inspire at-risk youth in foster care.

Katia, who is also a professional QVC model, will be dressed by legendary designer Bob Mackie who has hand picked her outfit for this event.  Also designer Mark Zanino will provide other elements of her outfit.  She will also be working with make-up artist Lia Key and graphic designer Evans Silien.

Katia, who is also an international music superstar (distributed to WHO?MAG/Sony Orchard and produced by Grammy Nominated Mig & Rizzo), has also appeared on Project Runway and has walked the runway with for some of the biggest designers.

Invited guests include: Mayor Michael Nutter, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams and Asst. District Attorney George Mosee, DHS Commissioner Vanessa Garrett-Harley, Senator Anthony Williams, Multi Grammy Award Winner Carvin Haggins, Miss Pennsylvania USA Elizabeth Cardillo, and Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Jasmine Daniels.

The event will be honoring Mr. Steve Pemberton (VP of Diversity for “Walgreens” and author) and hosted by 6abc Action News Anchor Shirleen Allicot and Katia.
