PRLog -- Today it was announced by T&T Management and Booking Agency that two bodacious bands on their roster of talent--Silversel and Shanytown--have joined forces and are sounding off with their upcoming “Soldiers of Rock” Tour. Both bands are armed with an artillery of music—Silversel with their chart topping “Battlegrounds”
CD and Shanytown--bringing the Van Zant legacy and their hit single “Redneck”.
Bad boys of Rock, Silversel has been making news as of late—first signing to the Star Pro Records label (a licensee of Viacom) and receiving branding as an Official MTV Artist, then commanding the National airplay Digital Radio Tracker charts for two of their singles from their “Battlegrounds”
CD--“Icarus”
and “All Out of Rocks”. Silversel now adds to their growing list of accomplishments, the “Soldiers of Rock Tour”. Their undeniably unique music has garnered some pretty prestigious notice--Silversel was on the short list of consideration, whittled down from thousands by the Recording Academy for the 56
th Grammys for their song
“Heard It All Before” from their CD “Where Angels Dare”. They have rocked the states from the east coast to the west coast with artists like Moly Hatchet, Ghost Riders, Southern Rock's Finest, Pat Travers--and many more! Silversel is: Richard Saldano/Drums and Percussion, Justin Myers/Guitar, George Adkins/Bass, Wally Silver/Vocals, Guitar, David Newman/Rhythm Guitar.
Anyone who is a connoisseur of Rock music is familiar with the legendary Van Zant name. Known as the "First Family of Southern Rock", it has produced three major bands: Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special and the Johnny Van Zant Band. Now there is yet another band born into the "First Family"…Shanytown;
comprised in part by Robbie Morris/drums, the nephew of the late Ronnie Van Zant and Donnie and Johnny Van Zant. Robbie's musical roots are deep and as fine as his uncles', and just like his uncles, he is the real deal. Robbie Morris has joined forces with a brotherhood that includes Duane Johnson/guitar (Confedertate Outlaws), Charles Moody/bass (Loretta Lynn/The Bellamy Brothers)--and recently added to the lineup are Robbie Gay/guitar (The Johnny Van Zant Band) and Joe Mattiocco/vocals--
who has shared the stage with numerous giants; including Charlie Daniels and Lorrie Morgan--to form Shanytown. Hear their single hit release
“Redneck” and others in the Van Zant tradition. The Van Zant legacy continues! Batten down the hatches!
These “Bands of Brothers” are forming a united front with their eyes on the prize…to fight for the right to ROCK! They are currently gearing up for the “Soldiers of Rock” Tour and will be marching into battle when the tour kicks off on June27, 2015 at Rachael's 1190 in Savannah, Georgia.
