Follow on Google News | Professional MMA fighter, Francisco Isata to fight in World Series of Fighting 21 on June 5Less than a month after his victory at Shogun Fights 12 and with only a month to prepare, Cisco has accepted the great challenge of taking on former Bellator contender, Magomedrasul “Frodo” Khas, at World Series of Fighting 21.
By: Francisco Isata Last week, Cisco signed the contract to fight former Bellator top featherweight contender, Magomedrasul “Frodo” Khasbulaev. Khasbulaev is 21-5 but has not fought since his Bellator 95 victory on April 4, 2013 because of apparent Visa issues. Cisco started to train to be an MMA fighter only a few months after Khasbulaev’s last fight! Cisco is 5-2 since starting his professional career in October of 2013. Cisco fast tracked his career to become a professional MMA fighter. After deciding he wanted to train as an MMA fighter in 2010, he took on his first amateur fight only 5 months later. He went 8-2-1 in his 3 years as an amateur. Cisco trains out of Sterling, VA at Disciple MMA Academy and coaches as a member of Team Blackprint in Kensington, MD.
