Meet DreIS, Philly's Diamond In The Rough

Meet, Andreas Hale, professionally known as "Dreis" - although an official 90"s baby, Dreis was born and raised in Philadephia, Pa., listening to many different genre listening to oldies & studying different kinds of Hip-Hop & R&B. Making his first beat on his PlayStation at the age 13 was when he found his passion for making Hip-Hop beats & rapping to rhythm with friends. Shortly after Dreis started making beats & producing records with MonsterKeyz & Production team Quakerz helping produce tracks for local artists like Mike Brown, Tripple Post, Mont Brown, Dj Choc, Reek I'Van, Riqo, Dj Choc, Keylo Dope, Ital Tha Ruffian and Shannon Miur.

Dreis also began taking up music classes at Community College Of Philadelphia (C.C.P.). Shortly after he turned 19 his mother passed away. This was devastating for him at such a young age but he used that as motivation to go harder at his dreams.

His very first show was at the Arts Garage Cecil b. Moore in north Philly. His sound is that of a soulful living color meets east-cost hiphop Jazz type. He speaks about his message:

"My focus is to reach any & everyone that is or has gone thru any trails in there life with Soul & Motivation. & to give them the same feel I felt thru music the fear u feel is not really real unless u believe it is. Nothing in the world effects me like soulful music does" - Dreis

Dreis has been to many different cities around the country exploring his music passion  which gives him his well rounded image. He also puts his experiences in his music which makes him the realist he is.
