Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls launches Casual Friday events summer through fall

LOGAN, Ohio - May 29, 2015 - PRLog -- The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls today announced a brand new series of events to celebrate the beautiful summer and fall weather that's characteristic of Ohio's Hocking Hills region. Welcoming not just the Inn's overnight guests, but locals and other travelers as well, Casual Fridays will feature local wine, beer and spirits and special gastro pub fare. Offered 5-9:30 p.m. every Friday, June 5 through Oct. 30, Casual Friday guests will enjoy happy hour drink specials from 5-6:30, such as $5 house pours of specially selected wines. Live coffee house-style music and a special menu prepared by Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls’ revered Chef Anthony Schulz will create memorable seasonal Friday evenings.

The menu for this recurring event will change weekly, but will consistently include bistro- and pub-style items and a changing wine list and cocktail of the week. Guests will enjoy personal pizzas made with fresh dough crafted using spent grain from local craft breweries, including nearby Rockmill Brewery. A weekly burger selection will feature local ingredients, such as the Forager Burger, topped with local onions, foraged mushrooms and Ohio artisan cheese served on a pretzel roll. The Death by Bacon burger is an Angus beef patty with Ohio gruyere-style cheese, tomato and the Inn's addictive bacon marmalade.

Once guests fill up on burgers, pizza and more, they can make their way to the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls’ relaxing patio, fire pit or Gathering Place with a specialty cocktail or glass of wine. During their overnight stay at the Inn, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Inn’s cabin-style restaurant, Kindred Spirits. The on-site spa offers a soothing, relaxed experience, while a hike to Cedar Falls allows travelers to explore and appreciate the stunning sites of the Hocking Hills region.
