Follow on Google News | FYI - An Art Show by RapidValue Brings Technology and Creativity TogetherRapidValue’s design team at Kochi, will be hosting an art exhibition at Durbar Hall Art Gallery Kochi, which is to be held from 6 – 10, June 2015 from 11am to 7pm.
The enthusiastic design team at RapidValue has conducted several art camps, before, and has been contemplating to conduct a bigger art exhibition, since the very beginning. The fruits of their efforts are finally going to be witnessed by all. FYI is a Sustainable Development Program. It is a collective endeavor of the talented designers of the Gems team. It is envisioned to be an Art Exhibition, which is, primarily, meant to showcase the artistic talent of the techies, who are working at the Kochi (Infopark) office, to the people of Kochi. The artists, who are exhibiting their artwork, are Melvin Thambi, Rony Anand, Anup M, Sujith K S, Anugeeth T S, Saranya Remanan, Hari Krishnan, Jibin joseph, Amal Tomy, Mathukutty Xavier, Jijo Joseph, Sminu Joseph, Arun K A, Anjali Raveendran. A musical night is organized on the 6, June 2015 from 5:30 pm. till 7 pm, with Alen Sunny Stephen and Vinay Mathew John performing. The ultimate goal of the event is to showcase the art works of the RapidValue designers to the Software Community in Kochi.The team wishes to portray the commendable work to the Art Fraternity, through various avenues. "The art exhibition is to serve as a platform for designers, from all walks of life, and make the event successful by useful interaction and proper engagement” says Dr. Gopalakrishnan J Prakash, Director - Human Resources, RapidValue Solutions. RapidValue, strongly, feels that it will be able to conduct successive versions of FYI every year and widen its scope to encompass various segments of the society and community. It aims to conduct a bigger event in 2016, which will showcase more artistic grandeur and talent from the entire Infopark. As Joseph Beuys once said ‘Everyone is an artist’. "Being an artist and a techie are like the two hands of a clock, but we believe that the clock ticks in everyone’s favour. There are times when both hands meet. We hope to cultivate this trend and culture within Infopark and possibly broaden the scope to other tech parks in the country” says Melvin Thambi, Lead Architect – UI/UX, at RapidValue Solutions. A campus-wide photography contest was also organized at Infopark, to improve the creativity and boost the self-confidence of the techie artists in Kochi.
